About the speakers:

Scott Shaw:
Head of Technology for ThoughtWorks Asia Pacific and a senior consultant in the areas of IT strategy and Agile and Lean software development methodologies. He has been developing large-scale distributed software systems for business and government clients for over 20 years and holds 2 US patents and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Jason Furnell:
With 15 years proven experience in the implementation of business strategy through design, Jason is expert in bridging the gap between the business, marketing and technology teams. Leading an Agile design process that drives technology solutions towards rich and useful customer experiences, he prides himself on delivering application designs that effortlessly shoulder the weight of functional complexity in simple and engaging ways.

Ben Melbourne:
Ben works to create products and services that make people’s lives better. He serves ThoughtWorks as an Experience Design Consultant and brings over ten years experience in digital product design, through all phases of a project covering research and discovery, envisioning and delivery. He uses his design thinking skills, along with his passion for research-based insights to inform and drive an iterative design process, where he is working collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders.
