StampedeCon 2012

The 100th Calgary Stampede is the perfect occasion for the 1st ThoughtWorks StampedeCon. It's a time to look beyond the boundaries of our organisation and out to the wider technical community in Calgary. ThoughtWorks is delighted to host this event for staff, alumni and technologists from across the city where we can share ideas in an informal and creative environment.

The conference will begin with keynote speakers Christian Maclean, President of Decoder and Cofounder of BeauCoo, Pete Hodgson, ThoughtWorks San Francisco and Ken Collier, ThoughtWorks' Agile Analytics Practice Lead. We will look at what lessons a serial entrepreneur has for technologists in a mature corporate environment, hear about the latest thinking in mobile application strategy, and learn what one of the leaders in the field of data analytics has to say about agility in the time of big data.
