vodQA is a platform for members of the software testing industry to strengthen the QA community by sharing and learning new practices and ideas. vodQA is a series of testing events hosted by ThoughtWorks across our India offices. This is the first time it will take place in Bangalore. The series is open to all testing professionals from the IT industry.

In this session, the panelists will talk about the principles & paradigms of Agile testing and share their insights on how to convert these principles into practice. Facilitators will mediate between the panel & the attendees.

The panel and facilitators bring with them a combined experience of 35 years in Agile implementation.

During the panel discussion, participants are free to discuss various topics/ideas around Agile Testing.

This will be a lunch-time session where we will demonstrate the Agile style of working at ThoughtWorks.

Speakers

Anand Bagmar is a Lead Consultant (QA) with ThoughtWorks. He has been in the software industry for 14 years, of which 11+ have been spent in the field of software testing. He has hands-on experience in active delivery work, coaching, consulting and training.

Manish Kumar leads the testing practice at ThoughtWorks India. Manish and his team are pioneers in evolving testing practices in mainstream agile application development in a distributed setup. In his 16 years in the industry, he has helped many teams and organizations successfully develop testing capabilities to support rapid application delivery.

Rohith Rajagopal is a Lead Consultant (Dev) with ThoughtWorks. He has worked in the software industry for over 10 years and played various roles like developer, team lead, architect, consultant, and trainer with multiple agile teams.

Apoorv Gawde is a Lead Consultant (BA) with ThoughtWorks. He has worked in the software industry for about 7 years. He has dabbled in a variety of domains and is responsible of business analysis, release planning, managing customer expectations, and mentoring aspiring analysts on a project.

Sripad Rao is a Lead Consultant (QA) with ThoughtWorks. He has been in the software industry for around 9 years and has excelled in multiple roles as a tester (both functional & automation), team lead, release management, and as a trainer. He is actively involved in testing activities in and outside ThoughtWorks.
