ThoughtWorks is offering one-day AWS training courses for software developers and engineers. These hands-on training sessions are a great opportunity for web developers who want to get started with AWS and take advantage of AWS’ reliable, cost-effective computing platform.
The session will walk developers through the AWS infrastructure services and show them how to deploy their applications “in the cloud”. For the purposes of this class, some basic Unix command line experience is required for the coding exercises.
- Learn how Amazon S3, EC2, SQS, and SimpleDB, work together to form a scalable web architecture
- Get hands-on training with the common services
- Discover use cases, best practices, and tips to make cloud computing easier
- Learn about additonal, less commonly known, Amazon Services
Training information:
- Hands-on training day, 9:00am-6:15pm, refreshments and lunch provided
- Seats are limited, maximum capacity: 20
- Basic Unix command line experience required. No previous AWS experience necessary
- Participants need to bring their own laptop to complete the course
- Cost of the course: £500
